Security assured: stay safe on our freight exchange

Working safely on a freight exchange

Alpega’s platforms — Teleroute, Wtransnet, and 123cargo/Bursa — connect transport professionals across Europe. With trust as our connector.

Every company is verified before joining, and all platform activity is monitored continuously. Suspicious activity is detected quickly, and reported cases are reviewed immediately.

Even with these protections, following a few simple checks helps ensure every transport runs smoothly — whether you are a carrier, forwarder, shipper, or driver

On alert: how we protect our freight exchanges

Protecting forwarders

Issue: A forwarding company received a transport offer from a non-existent company.

  • Teleroute’s response: Our monitoring spots a suspect account concerning multiple loads. All affected posters are alerted in minutes, so forwarders can pause shipment and report it.

Issue: A newly onboarded account poses as a shipper and consults multiple loads across Europe.

  • Teleroute’s response: Our monitoring spots a suspect account concerning multiple loads. All affected posters are alerted in minutes, so forwarders can pause shipment and report it.

Protecting carriers

Issue: A load poster offers higher rates than agreed with their customers. This raises the risk of unpaid subcontractors.

  • Teleroute’s response: We block the account rapidly, and ask for supporting documents. Situation resolved. The unpaid carrier is paid directly, and the suspicious company removed from the platform.

Issue: A scammer tries to access the platform using forged documents to get access to shippers' loads.

  • Teleroute’s response: We fully screen new carriers, which means we verify insurance policies, company seniority, and identity.

How our freight exchanges add an extra layer of security

Working through a verified platform delivers advantages not easy to achieve with direct contacts:

  • Verification before joining: company registration, licenses, VAT number
  • Ongoing monitoring: abnormal freight posting volumes or suspicious access triggers alerts
  • Safety Committee oversight: reported cases are reviewed, and accounts can be restricted or blocked when needed

Together, these measures create a professional, safer environment for carriers, forwarders, shippers, and drivers.
